This rendering is an aggressive design hypothesis by L’Automobile Magazine, a French publication. The 2013 BMW 3 Series Coupe is expected to be revealed in 2011 or 2012.
The 2013 BMW 3 Series Coupe is expected to feature a four-cylinder 2.0-liter petrol unit with a top version developing 245 hp together with other six-cylinder engines and diesel units. A three-cylinder turbo unit with a top version of 170hp made in partnership with French engineers at PSA may also be offered. It will have the famous start/stop system to increase fuel efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.
