Previously, we have seen the B8 Gran Coupe with the typical ALPINA design elements and its optional M Carbon roof. In this video, we will have an in-depth look at the latest model from the ALPINA: The 2022 BMW ALPINA B8 Gran Coupe.
This four-door coupe showcases various ALPINA design cues, such as the modified aprons on the front and rear. It also sports an exhaust system with four tailpipes and a massive 21-inch forged wheels in a multi-spoke design to complete its look.
Going inside, the cabin is upholstered with swathes of fine leather, while the steering wheel is covered with ALPINA’s signature LAVALINA leather. It doesn’t seem all that different from the ordinary M850i, but it will feel different when you sit in it, just like the B7 and XB7.
Under the bonnet, a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine generates a whopping 612 horsepower. Based on the ‘ preliminary ‘ tests done by the carmaker, this four-door coupe can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.3 seconds.
