BMW E46 M3 CSL
Since I started contributing to Speedhunters, my main area of focus has always centred around drifting and with that, predominantly its been about the Prodrift Series. Of course I have no complaints about this area of work, but I often find myself wanting outside of these tight JDM orientated circles. When Rod dropped me the line to say that September was to be BMW Month, I knew, I just knew I had to find an M3. I don’t know a whole lot about the history of BMW but I do know what I like.

First of many: 1 JZ Powered E36
One of the things the themed months on Speedhunters is the opportunity to see the diversity that comes with one brand or type of car. One thing noticed about BMW’s is the wild engine swaps people do on them. Really, it’s not surprising when you have an inexpensive RWD car with a well-engineered chassis and a large engine bay. Speedhunters was browsing the Drift Works forum earlier when they found this Toyota-powered E36 drift car being built in Germany.
