BMW CEO Norbert Reithofer denied that the company is undergoing talks with the General Motors for a strategic partnership.
It was recently reported that the US automaker General Motors are planning to enter into a partnership with BMW. But Reithofer said that there are no discussions on their end. General Motors may be open to partnerships, but for BMW, it will still be the existing cooperation with Daimler and Saab. Saab will be using BMW’s four-cylinder 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engines starting 2012 due to a strategic partnership between the automakers.
