Spy photos of the next generation F80 M3 sedan has led to renderings like this. However, this F80 rendering more closely resembles the next generation BMW M3 sedan, according to insiders. The engine rumors range from a turbo V6, to modified I6 N54, to modified S63 (engine from X6M/X5M), to turbo V8. In other words, don’t be surprised should the F80 M3 arrives with a turbocharged V6.

The BMW F80 M3 Sedan will likely have its market launch in the second half of 2013, before the F82 M4 coupe. Expect the F80 M3 to debut at the 2013 IAA in Frankfurt.
