The BMW Connected Drive now allows BMW owners to read their emails from their Blackberry phones using Bluetooth technology. For those of you who have busy schedules, the email reader will be perfect. Plus, you won’t have to worry that it will be a distraction to your driving, because the BMW ConnectedDrive system will read the emails aloud for you — so your eyes can keep to the road.
This will not require a larger infotainment screen to be installed because of the Bluetooth technology. The emails will be loaded to tehinfotainment screen via Bluetooth then reads it out aloud for your convenience. Totally hands free.
This technology from BMW is the first of its kind in the world. It breaks the boundaries and goes beyond just calling or displaying your contact lists. BMW also gives you the capability to display calendar entries, SMS messages, tasks and memos all through Bluetooth interface technology. But of course that is if your phone is compatible with the BMW ConnectedDrive system.
