BMW Classic: 1980 BMW M1 with 2,200 miles

Motoreum, an Austin-based dealership that specializes in Classics, Motorcycles and Specialty Vehicles, presents one impressive and iconic car: a 1980 BMW M1 is in its top shape with only 2,200 miles recorded on the odometer. The M1 is painted in the iconic red color with a black interior, and a manual transmission. Being M division’s first creation, it was one of the fastest and most dynamic cars on the market in 1978. Production was limited to only 456. Powered by a 277 horsepower 3.5-liter straight-six engine and could reach speeds in excess of 160 mph, the redline came at 7,000 rpm and it is capable of accelerating from 0-62 mph in 5.6 seconds.
