The highly anticipated 2024 BMW M5 Touring is a significant event for car enthusiasts. BMW M has confirmed the arrival of the third-generation M5 Wagon, putting an end to speculations. The G99 BMW M5 draws inspiration from the upcoming 5 Series Touring and the G90 M5.
Nicolas Cavero’s latest renders showcase the front-end design of the 2024 BMW M5 Touring, inspired by the BMW i5 M60 model. The bumper features the typical M design with massive air intakes and horizontal slats on the kidney grille. The model boasts modern, thin LED taillights, flush door handles, quad exhaust pipes, and a subtle roof spoiler, maintaining a tasteful and premium appearance.
Both the G90 M5 and G99 BMW M5 Touring will introduce a plug-in hybrid powertrain, nearing full electrification. The 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 from the BMW XM, coupled with an electric motor, is expected to produce around 715 horsepower. The 2024 BMW M5 Touring promises an impressive driving experience and could be the fastest BMW ever produced.
Excitingly, the G99 BMW M5 Touring might arrive in the US, despite the regular G61 BMW 5 Series not being available there. Reliable sources strongly indicate this possibility. Production of the new BMW M5 Touring starts in November 2024, four months after the G90 M5 Sedan. Enthusiasts can look forward to both variants in the summer of 2024.
