BMW North America announced the recall of 97 units of the 2017-2018 M760Li xDrive model. The reason is loosened engine oil cooler lines which cause an oil leak in the engine compartment.
The leaking oil may cause problems with the front brake disks, which prolongs the braking distance and increases the risk of a crash. The owners will be notified so they can take their vehicles to the dealerships for an inspection. Any needed replacements will be made for free.
