The future BMW 6 Series GT model is about to replace the current 5 Series GT. The change is exciting, as we are about to get a sportier car that looks more like a coupe than its predecessor. We now have some more details about the new 6er GT.

Engines

The car will come with typical petrol and diesel engines used by the BMW. 620d, 30d, and M650d xDrive (B57) will be available for diesel lovers. If you’re more into petrol, there is a choice among the 630i, 640i, and M650i xDrive. The xDrive option comes with a 4.4-liter TwinTurbocharged V8.

Packages

No surprises here as well. An M Sport package is expected to offer more cool interior features. The owners will be able to choose between two air suspensions. Active Integral Steering or rear-wheel steering will also be an option. Remote Parking? Check.

The 6 Series GT will certainly be an overall better car than the 5 Series. We’ll have to wait and see the end result.
