This video of the BMW i8 Coupe shows it going from 62 mph to 124 mph (100 km/h – 200 km/h) in just a bit under 11 seconds. This is a great performance for this car, considering that it is 6 years old already with a 1.5-liter 3-cylinder engine under the hood. During the last run shown in the video, the i8 can even be seen doing 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) in 15.38 seconds and reaching its electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h) in about 34 seconds. This top speed run feels like a blast for the near past!
