[Video] BMW 440i xDrive Gran Coupe Top Speed Run

Living in Germany, with an unrestricted Autobahn to play with, is the best setting for videos like these that put a car’s capability to the limits. German car manufacturers all agree that 250 km/h (155 mph) is the perfect top speed for their cars. But due to government regulations, an electronic velocity limitation has been enforced to avoid over speeding. The BMW 440i Gran Coupe was not something that people have loved from the start. However, it did end up to be a great car. So much so that people started to ask when an M variant will be made available. Do note that the car’s speedometer in the video below does show a slightly different speed even when tapping out, but GPS speedometers should record the velocity more accurately.
