BMW 3 Series is the Bestselling Compact Luxury Sports Sedan of 2012

MotorTrend reports that the new F30 BMW 3 Series Sedan is the bestselling compact luxury sports sedan in 2012. There were 99,602 units sold for this vehicle, overtaking the 81,697 unit sales of its competitor, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Infiniti, a Japanese automaker, comes in at third place with 59,844 unit sales of their G models. Here is a chart from Automarketer showing where other competitors ranked.
