BMW X3 xDrive30d’s European debut in 2011

The new BMW X3 with xDrive30d will make its European debut in the Spring of 2011. Under the hood, this vehicle has a 3.0 liter straight-six engine delivering 245 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque, flat-lining from 1750 through to 3000 rpm. The crank case it completely made from aluminum. It also has common rail direct injection and a thermodynamically optimized turbocharger with variable intake geometry. It accelerates to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds. Top speed is 155 mph.

The BMW BluePerformance technology embedded in this vehicle gives it a very impressive fuel consumption of 6.0 liters per 100 km and approximately 39.2 mpg and CO2 emissions of 159 grams.
