This Russian review and comparison can also be regarded as a run between a V12 and two V8 mills. While the Merc uses a 5.5-liter 585 PS engine, the S8 Plus uses a 4-liter twin-turbo mill making 605 PS and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. Unfortunately, the 13-minute review is in Russian and we can’t really understand what is said about the three.
