MINI JCW Takes on the Ford Fiesta ST200

Since the Ford Fiesta ST200 was launched, it already got a good number of positive reviews. Ford has done a great job in improving on the standard ST but have they done enough to take on the MINI JCW hardtop? Check it out on this straight up drag race video from Auto Express:

The new Fiesta has a bit more power compared to its predecessor. It is now powered by a tweaked 1.6-liter engine delivering 200 hp and 236 lb-ft (320 Nm) of torque. It does have pretty impressive features compared to others in this size and segment. In this video, the Fiesta goes against the experienced MINI JCW that’s powered by a 2-liter 4-cylinder engine with 231 hp and 236 lb-ft (320 Nm) of torque as well. It uses either a six-speed manual or an automatic gearbox and the MINI is nothing short of fast.
