The BMW M2 made its presence felt at Road America during the 2016 One Lap of America by bagging a win! In this video, Mike Renner from the BMW Performance Driving School is doing a morning run on the BMW M2. The vehicle is sponsored by BMW M Performance Parts and IHG Rewards Club. The car is participating on the the stock class and it has to follow a few rules. There must be no modifications on the vehicle. This is absolutely not allowed and only manufacturer accessories may be added. Any suspension geometry or engine modifications are prohibited. Not that this is a problem for the M2, which performs very well even in standard form. This BMW M2 for the 2016 Lap of America was configured like any other BMW that you can purchase in a dealership. It’s that normal. Well, to suit up for the occasion, it also wears a few BMW M Performance Parts including a Front Splitter, Black Grilles, Side Planes, Rear Spoiler, Rear Apron, Exhaust with Carbon Fiber Tips, Adjustable Coil-Over Suspension, and M Body Stripes.
