MINI launched the MINI Paceman Concept, a coupe version of the Countryman, at the Detroit Auto Show recently. This Sports Activity Coupe boasts of a familiar MINI family front end. It also has large headlights with chrome surrounds extend far into the front wings and a strikingly contoured bonnet which emphasizes the imposing front end.
The MINI Paceman will join the MINI Countryman at the Graz, Austria and and Magna Steyr production lines. This information was confirmed today by Dr. Klaus Draeger. He also confirmed that the MINI Paceman will start production in 2012 and the first deliveries will occur in 2013. The MINI Paceman will be available in front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive options.
