BMW Z8 with ALPINA Wheels: A Unique Find

BMW Z8 is a classic car, a desirable Bimmer. With its combination of V8 power, manual transmission, rear-wheel drive and sleek design, it’s the perfect vehicle for long-distance continent cruising. One of the best examples of the Z8 is at RM Sotheby’s auction on January 26.

This 2002 BMW Z8 is in pristine condition, with only two previous owners and 7,430 miles on the odometer. Its black exterior with crema interior is a rare color scheme, with only 229 Z8s produced in this combination. Additionally, it features ALPINA wheels, which not only improve the look of the car, but also add a six-speed manual, which the ALPINA Z8 did not have.

Crema interior keeps cabin light and airy, protecting against sun. Black dashboard and steering wheel create sleek look. 4.9-liter V8 engine (same as E39 M5) produces 400 horsepower. This example likely still near that number.

The six-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive make it a true driver’s car, perfect for long-distance cruising or a weekend getaway. With less than 7,500 miles, this Z8 has been well-preserved and is a true collector’s item. If you’re in the market for a classic BMW roadster, this Z8 is one to keep an eye on at the upcoming auction.
