For decades, the 7 Series has been BMW’s flagship model, representing the very best in luxury and technology the brand has to offer. Before it was introduced, the high-priced i7 received all of BMW’s latest technologies while retaining the brand’s most expensive vehicle.

The BMW i7 eDrive50 and i7 M70 will be the first two variants available at launch. As a true flagship, the M70 will be packed with the latest features and most powerful hardware. Both vehicles will be powered by massive battery packs that can offer a range of up to 373 miles. The i7 M70’s two electric motors could deliver up to 650 horsepower. The eDrive50 variant will be powered by a single rear-mounted motor producing 450-500 hp.
The interior of the BMW i7 will feature other innovative technologies. For example, the i7 can display the large cinema screen shown at CES, making it the ultimate rear-seat entertainer. The doors will also open and close automatically. The doors of the BMW i7 will open and close automatically at the touch of a button, just like Rolls-Royce cars. It is the first time a BMW vehicle has had this feature.
