Evo magazine’s Chris Harris gets the chance to go on board the BMW 1M with the 1M project manager driving him around the track.

There are interesting bits of information that the project manager shares. The 1M is expected to lap the Ring at around 8:07 seconds — 2 seconds off How To Get A Lover Back the pace of the E92 M3. BMW engineers are still working to have a more glamorous M sound off the 1M’s engine and exhaust. The suspension set up is already completed and will most likely make the debut on the first quarter of 2011.
