Here is the latest spy photo of the 2012 BMW ActiveHybrid 5 shot in Germany. The vehicle is powered by a 3.0 liter straight-six N55 gasoline engine with TwinPower Turbo technology, electric motor, eight-speed automatic transmission, a high-voltage battery placed at the rear of the car, and operates via electric drive. The goal for this vehicle is to create a sustainable, all-electric, and zero-emission, and fuel efficient urban vehicle for daily use.  The vehicle will have a soft launch this year and a market launch in the second half of 2012.
