BMW 1 Series Coupe and Cabrio Facelift Rumored Release in December 2010

The rumors are coming in about the release of the BMW 1 Series Coupe and Cabrio facelift this coming December.

The BMW 1 Series Coupe (E82) and Convertible (E88) were sold to the U.S. market in 2007. Carrying the badges 128i and the 135i respectively. Just half way through their lifecycle, rumors of an unusual facelift or life cycle impulse arise.

BMW insiders say that the 1 Series Coupe and Convertible will be unveiled in December of this year. The world premiere will follow at the Detroit Motor Show in January 2011, together with the BMW 1 Series M Coupe.

Rumored changes are LED technology treatment headlights, more aerodynamic front bumper, new exterior colors, new interior trims, and re-profiled semi-circles that dip under the grille.
