2022 BMW M4 Convertible in Sao Paolo Yellow

The 2022 BMW M4 Convertible G83 is already in the starting blocks after the sedan and coupe were unveiled. The M-version of the BMW 4 Series Convertible (G23) will also be celebrating its market launch in 2021. And it is set to unveil today.

Although the new M3 Sedan G80 and the new M4 Coupe G82 are scheduled for joint market launch in Spring, the BMW M4 Convertible will, sadly, skip Summer 2021. It will only be available by the end of the year.

A new X-Tomi Concept rendering reveals what clients can expect next year. The rendering artists have practically liberated the coupe from its carbon roof, as well as the pillars B and C. Giving the new BMW M4 Convertible G83 a reasonably detailed view.

The M4 Cabriolet will feature the extremely controversial kidney grille, much like its brothers. The side gills behind the wide front fenders, the expanded rear axle fenders, the M exterior mirrors, and, of course, the diffuser with its four tailpipes clearly show the performance specifications of the open-top M4 in addition to the front apron.

You can definitely purchase the aggressively built M Performance Components, as seen on the Coupé and Sedan, if you want to go a few steps further visually.

What is concealed behind the massive double kidney grille is no mystery. The 2022 BMW M4 Convertible G83 is also propelled by the S58 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engine. Which already produces 480hp and 550 Nm of torque in the standard version.

The power production goes up to 510 hp and even 650 Newton meters for the BMW M4 Competition Convertible. A model with completely variable all-wheel drive M xDrive including 2WD mode, in addition to the rear-wheel-drive models, is also expected to be available for the Cabriolet.
