The second generation BMW 1 Series Coupe and Convertible will soon make its debut in 2011. We have not seen this vehicle testing on the roads yet since the focus is now on the hatchback models. Rendering artists take this opportunity to generate images of what they think the next 1 Series Convertible will look like. The design is primarily based on recent 5 Series, 7 Series, 5 GT and the Z4. Slightly longer and wider, this has a protruding nose, oversized grilles, and wraparound headlights. Sources say that the the BMW 1 Series will still be a rear-wheel drive.
