[Rendering] 2019 BMW 1 Series

The BMW 1 Series Hatchback will be replaced by the F40 1 Series in 2019. The future 1 Series model, announced as “a model developed especially for the city,” will come in two body styles – a hatchback and a 3-door model.

A five-door hatch will use a front-wheel drive platform and run on 3- and 4-cylinder engines. The lineup will include models like the 116i, 118i, 120i, 116d, 118d, and 1135ix, the last one probably replacing the current M140i.

The rendering you see here (made by Autobuild) uses current BMW design cues, but adds a twist in form of slimmer headlights and full LED lights.
