Finally, BMW has debuted its first-ever BMW M3 Touring. Watch the first and exclusive review of the BMW M3 Touring here.

The BMW M3 Sedan as a one-off concept is now a thing of the past. BMW M is now bringing a sports wagon version of the famous M3. Indeed, the new BMW M3 Touring is just the M3 Sedan that BMW transformed into the best wagon BMW ever made. The two bimmers almost look the same with their B-pillar forward. There is no carbon fiber roof on the wagon. Still, the standard roof and its roof rails are wrapped in a high-gloss black finish.

Nevertheless, you can choose to have the roof in the same color as the whole car. BMW also developed and 3D-printed the spoiler at the back specifically for the M3 Touring. Compared with the BMW 3 Series Touring, the M3 Touring is 85 millimeters longer. It is also 76 millimeters wider and four millimeters lower. The M3 Touring also has some wide hips resulting in a better stance.

BMW decided to offer the BMW M3 Touring exclusively in its Competition version. This means it will only come with an automatic transmission and xDrive-only setup. Its eight-speed M Steptronic delivers 510 hp and 650 Nm of torque on both axles. The sporty wagon will run 0 to 62 mph in 3 seconds. This is only a tenth of a second slower compared to the M3 Sedan.

Inside, it has the new iDrive 8 that we have seen on the M3 Sedan and the 3er LCI. This comes with a fully digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster with a 14.9-inch touchscreen. All these are in a single piece of curved glass, much like how it looks on other models. Watch the exclusive review for more details on the new BMW M3 Touring.
