BMW M Unveils New Hybrid BMW M5 MotoGP™ Safety Car

BMW M has introduced the latest addition to its fleet of MotoGP safety cars, the BMW M5 MotoGP™ Safety Car. This high-performance vehicle showcases the brand’s commitment to innovation and safety in motorsport.

Powered by a cutting-edge hybrid system that combines a V8 engine with an electric motor, the M5 Safety Car delivers a maximum output of 727 horsepower. This formidable power output and the car’s advanced technology make it ideal as a safety vehicle on the MotoGP circuit.

The M5 Safety Car is based on the recently launched BMW M5, further enhanced with numerous BMW M Performance Parts for racetrack use. These modifications, including carbon front attachments, an aramid rear diffuser, carbon side skirts, carbon-titanium tailpipe trims, and a carbon fuel filler cap, elevate the car’s performance and aerodynamic efficiency.

In addition to these performance enhancements, the M5 Safety Car features a distinctive graffiti-design livery inspired by BMW M Motorsport’s race cars. This unique livery adds a touch of visual flair and highlights BMW M’s commitment to hybrid technology and its connection to motorsport.
