New Models and Colour Choices for the BMW 4 Series Range

Beginning this summer, the BMW 4 Series range will gain new models, colour options and trims. The Bavarian brand will introduce these new options along with the arrival of the new BMW 4 Series convertible. These upcoming options will allow you to customise your ride in your preference. In addition, two new all-wheel-drive variants will also be added to the BMW 4 Series range starting this July.

An xDrive all-wheel-drive is now integrated on the new BMW 430i and 420i models. The BMW 430i xDrive Coupe goes from zero to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds, which is 0.1 seconds faster than the rear-wheel-drive counterpart. With 184 horsepower, the BMW 420i xDrive can run in 7.8 seconds. However, due to the increased weight of the all-wheel-drive system, it is 0.3 seconds slower than the rear-wheel-drive variant. An 8-speed Steptronic transmission is standard on both versions.

On the other hand, the trend is going in the opposite direction for the range’s top model. The BMW M440i will be only available with a rear-wheel-drive worldwide, rather than solely in the United States. It remains at 374 horsepower with an acceleration of 4.8 seconds in 0-100 km/h. This results in 0.3 seconds slower than the all-wheel-drive model. The 430d is a new engine type for the Convertible lineup. This will be one of the fastest 4 Series convertibles on the market, with a total output of 286 horsepower and 650 nm of torque. It has an acceleration of 5.8 seconds in 0-100 km/h.

You will have a wider range of exterior colour options in any model you choose. The BMW Individual colour Aventurin Red metallic and the variant M Brooklyn Grey metallic are new additions to the lineup. They’re both available together with the BMW 4 Series model M Sport and BMW M vehicles.

Penetrated in Sensatec, the BMW 4 Series Coupe’s seat surfaces will be available as an option with four different colours to choose from. These upholstery features will also be available for the BMW 3 Series Sedan and 3 Series Touring starting in July 2021. In addition, BMW will combine it with the optional sports seats and the Aventurin Red colour.
