BMW announced the continuation of its title partnership, which began in 1987. This ensures the tournament will remain named the BMW Open. It will also upgrade to an ATP 500 event next year. Bernhard Kuhnt, Head of BMW Region Europe, expressed pride in supporting this premier event in Munich for the 37th time. He congratulated Struff and handed him the all-electric BMW i5 M60 keys.

The BMW Open reached a new milestone, with all tickets sold out for the first time. Over 50,000 fans enjoyed top-tier tennis, contributing to a record-breaking crowd. Notable participants included Alexander Zverev, Holger Rune, Dominic Thiem, and Félix Auger-Aliassime. Despite strong contenders, Struff emerged victorious, even defeating the formidable Holger Rune in the semifinals.

Struff shared his excitement about winning his first title in Germany and praised the BMW Open as an incredible tournament. The champion admired the BMW i5 M60, excited about its powerful motor and sporty dynamics. The car offers typical BMW M performance but in an electric form, with advanced digital services.

The tournament also featured an all-electric shuttle fleet, showcasing models like the BMW i7, iX, and more. Although Struff missed the BMW Open double, the doubles title went to Yuki Bhambri and Albano Olivetti. Martín de la Puente won the Allianz Para Trophy, adding another layer of excitement to the event.
