Singapore. BMW Asia today introduced the BMW Switch, an interactive project (from 30 September onwards) in Singapore that has been designed to allow family and friends of existing BMW 1 Series or 3 Series owners to nominate their loved ones to be “punked” in BMW-style.

The BMW Switch project is also open to all non-BMW car owners who are interested in participating in the project, as well as for those who would like to make a self nomination.

Selected BMW owners will have their cars replaced, when they least suspect it, with a BMW Performance-kitted 1 Series or 3 Series depending on the car model they own or whichever is available. The owners who have been “Switched” can then take their new, tuned-up ride out for an adrenaline-pumping test drive.

To add to the fun and humour, some of the selected BMW Switch processes will be filmed and subsequently posted onto the BMW website.
