Many thought that the BMW M2 was just the over-hyped version of the BMW M235i when it first came out. While the two cars are very similar at some points, such as the engine, the M2 is a full-M car and stands out with more than a couple of horsepowers.
The M2, compared to the M235i, has better axle elastokinematics, better suspension, an M differential, and a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
