MINI unveiled the Countryman WRC at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. This car is made specifically for the return of Mini in the WRC. For a warm-up, the Mini Countryman WRC will be competing in 6 of the 13 scheduled rounds for 2011 before participating for the whole season in 2012. It has also been confirmed that Kris Meeke, the reigning IRC champion, will be driving the Mini Countryman WRC in the debut season.
