Spy Photo – BMW 3 Series GT chassis unveiled

A recent spy photograph published by GermanCarForum reveals the BMW 3 Series GT chassis while on the assembly line at a BMW plant. Though its shows a skeleton of the 3 Series Gran Turismo, but it gives us an good look at the sleek roofline and the overall proportions of the vehicle. The roof slopes down at the rear, but instead of a larger glass area as in a Touring, there is an additional quarter light and a wrap around tailgate. The rear end is a combination of Touring and a Shooting Brake.  The BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo is expected to debut in concept form at this year’s Paris Auto Show.
