China Car Times, a Chinese publication, reports that BMW may be entering a joint venture with China’s Brilliance company to produce “Zhi Nuo” or “The Promise” cars based on existing BMW platforms. This report is based on registration data about a new brand which was established and floating rumors about an E90 3-series and X1 platformed car to be used by a new joint brand. BMW has not made an official announcement about this so please take it with a grain of salt.
