BMW XM Label Red to Compete in 2023 Pikes Peak Hill Climb

BMW’s upcoming 2024 XM Label Red is set to make a big impact in the automotive industry. The car has been invited to participate in the 2023 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, an annual automobile race up the summit of Pikes Peak in Colorado. This race provides a glimpse into the capabilities of the BMW XM Label Red, which promises to be a powerhouse car. Get ready to see the BMW XM Label Red make its mark in the world of racing.

This year’s entry list showcases the most powerful BMW ever created, and the company’s Performance Chief Instructor Matt Mullins will be behind the wheel. The XM Label Red boasts a boosted powertrain, delivering a combined output of 735 horsepower and 735 lb-ft of torque, thanks to a 585 horsepower engine and 553 lb-ft of torque. Despite the impressive power, BMW has yet to release official performance figures, leaving us all to speculate on just how fast this car will go.

The XM Label Red is more than just a competition model, earning the deserving title of “Label Red.” This special model is expected to be limited to less than 2,000 units and will sell for around 195,000 euros in Europe and $185,000 in the US. This car is not only one of the fastest BMWs ever created, but it’s also one of the heaviest.

Though we have yet to get behind the wheel of the XM Label Red, we did have the chance to test drive a prototype last year and can’t wait to get our hands on the production series. In the meantime, we’ll be watching closely as Matt Mullins takes the XM Label Red up the challenging Pikes Peak course later this year.
