If your M440i Convertible needs a more aggressive look, then dAHler’s Competition range may be precisely what you’re looking for. The BMW M440i Convertible is not a sports car, its features are for long-distance riding like a GT car. Owing to a 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged I6 with 374 horsepower (Euro version), it is indeed fast. To travel continents swiftly and in style is what the M440i Convertible is built for.

Customers who purchase dAHler’s new Competition Line BMW M440i Convertible will receive a Stage 1 engine upgrade, alongside other options. The engine has been tuned to produce 410 horsepower and 610 Nm (449 lb-ft) of torque. BMW M4 Competition Convertible has less power but has almost as much torque. Go also for the Stage 2 tune which increases power to 455 horsepower and torque to 640 Nm (472 lb-ft). It undergoes WLTP Euro6d testing, and the tune complies with EU/CH homologation. In addition to the original warranty, it also comes with a solid aftermarket guarantee.

A new exhaust system with 90mm ceramic-coated exhaust tips is now available from dAHler for additional sound. It also gains an Eventuri intake, which improves the noise even further. With the press of a button, dAHler also allows you to control the exhaust flaps.

dAHler offers a Sport Spring set that lowers the suspension. To fit with BMW’s current electronic damper control, it includes calibrated shocks. That is if you want improved handling. So you can still change the ride quality by pressing the Sport and Comfort buttons. For it to look sportier, dAHler also has a fully adjustable three-way coilover kit with height, damper, and rebound adjustments.

The dAHLer CDC1 is available in cast or forged versions, with the latter offering significant weight savings for the wheels. Both their front and rear wheel and tire sizes are 920 and 1020 inches, with 245/35ZR20 and 285/30ZR20, respectively. Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires fit the wheels.

The BMW M440i Convertible gets a touch of extra power, performance, and handling. Thanks to this dAHLer tuning package which retains the car’s serene, cruiser appearance. This is a good place to start if you want to give your M440i a little more edge.
