BMW is rolling out many updates in spring 2025, enhancing performance, efficiency, and technology across its lineup. The all-electric BMW i5 benefits from improved energy management, incorporating silicon carbide semiconductor components and low-rolling-resistance tyres, boosting range by up to 47 km. Additionally, all BMW 5 Series models now come standard with ambient lighting featuring the BMW Interaction Bar, lumbar support for front seats, and a Harman Kardon HiFi system, ensuring greater comfort and premium sound quality.

The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé introduces two new variants. The 216 Gran Coupé offers an accessible entry-level option with a 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine producing 122 hp. For those seeking enhanced performance and all-wheel drive, the 223 xDrive Gran Coupé combines a four-cylinder petrol engine with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, generating 218 hp. Meanwhile, the BMW X3 lineup expands with the addition of the 40d xDrive variant, featuring a six-cylinder diesel engine delivering 303 hp and 670 Nm of torque for a refined yet powerful driving experience.

Plug-in hybrid models gain improved practicality with a faster AC charging rate of 11 kW, reducing charging times for the BMW X1, 2 Series Active Tourer, 7 Series, and XM. Digital innovations also take centre stage, with the BMW Digital Key Plus becoming standard on the iX. This feature allows owners to share up to 18 digital keys with customizable access permissions, enhancing security and convenience and making access effortless.
By introducing the tyre repair kit Plus for select models, BMW also prioritises convenience and safety. This system lets drivers temporarily repair a puncture and continue driving up to 200 km. The BMW X5 and X6 now include adaptive LED headlights as standard, while the BMW X7 gains Parking Assistant Professional for seamless manoeuvring. Additionally, the BMW M5 receives interior refinements, including new upholstery options and high-gloss black switchgear.
These enhancements reinforce BMW’s commitment to innovation, efficiency, and luxury. With improved electric driving capabilities, refined interiors, and advanced digital features, BMW’s 2025 models continue to set new benchmarks in the automotive industry.
