BMW M340i Facelift Unveiled In Melbourne Red For 2023

In conjunction with the press, the BMW Group planned a major test drive event in the United States. And now, they decided to release fresh photos of the featured vehicles. The fleet includes the X1 M Sport, M4 CSL, i7, MINI JCW, and Cooper Multitone. But this M340i, finished in Melbourne Red Metallic, was undoubtedly the finest of the bunch. However, the Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II was clearly the most expensive vehicle in the group.

The severely tinted headlights and the black kidney grille on this M Performance 3 Series xDrive hint that it has the Shadowline upgrade. Optional 19-inch M wheels, with a two-tone finish, and anniversary emblems are also noticeable on this model. These 50 years of M roundels are visible at the front and rear of all M Sport and M vehicles built in 2022.

BMW USA showcases the $1,500 option for the interior’s black Vernasca leather with blue contrast stitching. The glossy surface is a fingerprint nightmare and prone to scratches. As a result, the dashboard and centre console received Aluminum Rhombicle Anthracite trim.

This M340i xDrive comes with optional adaptive LED headlights. This is an example of one of two Life Cycle Impulses that BMW has in mind for the current 3 Series. According to sources, the second LCI is will launch around 2025. It has an updated style to match the i3’s arrival in three years on the Neue Klasse platform. If stories are to be believed, the G20 won’t be replaced by another CLAR-based variant with combustion engines until 2027. Moreover, this new model is said to have the codename G50.

The current 3 Series, in the meantime, continues to offer four- and six-cylinder engines. Also, allowing you to pick from a sedan or a wagon, you can still get an M340d with an inline-six diesel in some regions of the world.
