BMW plays on the vagueness of the release date for Tesla’s Model 3. While people are caught up in the hype, BMW remind them that they may wait forever before they get their hands on the model that they reserved.
Tesla claims that the Model 3 will debut before 2018. Howevever, news of delays in the brand’s Gigafactory hints that it will not make the launch date as promised.
The commercials above promotes the new BMW 330e iPerformance. Basically, both commercials highlight that the Model 3 is not worth the wait. Customers should purchase the new BMW 330e and enjoy it now. It is a pretty smart way to advertise based on the current events!
There is so much hype around Tesla’s Model 3 being the saviour of the automotive industry but no one has even seen a drivable production vehicle. These specs don’t mean anything unless they come into fruition. For BMW, to see is to believe.
