Thanks to the new, 50% longer lasting battery, BMW is launching an upgraded version of the i3 model.
To celebrate, the Bavarians published a new launch film that shows the new features of the vehicle. See it right above.
The new battery allows the i3 to go 180 km or more on a single charge, depending on the driving style and the features used at the moment.
It doesn’t come without a downside. The new battery is heavier, increasing the weight of the vehicle for over 100 kg. But even like that, the i3 remains the lightest car in its category.
