Head to Head: BMW 135i v Porsche GT3 RS v McLaren MP412C

The BMW 135i, 2016 Porsche GT3 RS, and McLaren MP4-12C goes head to head in Sonoma Raceway, Sears Point. The latter are seriously fast cars, and can the BMW 135i actually keep up with the chase?

The BMW 135i in this video has been set-up to a stock tune, 235/265 Hankook RS3’s with Ohlins, Quaife LSD, M3 arms/bushings, Vorshlag camber plates at -2.1, and PFC-08 pads with Motul RBF 660. Distilled water was used as engine coolant with an additional 2 bottles of Redline WaterWetter.

It is also important to highlight that the track was damp from light rain that happened in the previous session. Thus, it was a little slippery on some strips and edges — making it harder to manoeuvre. Although not as worse as at MRLS, brake fade was still a considerable issue.

Can the BMW 135i keep up? Yes, with great driving skills. Thanks to Milkywave for the video!
