Lightweight BMW M rumored to appear in the upcoming Tokyo Auto Show

Japan has been struck by a very painful tragedy and there is no assurance that things will get better immediately. However, the Tokyo Auto Show will still push through. BMW has decided to still take part in the show this year, despite the current situation of the country. BMW has not been a part of the show since 2009.

BMW insider Scott27 reveals that the company has an interesting car in store for the Tokyo Auto Show this December. Rumor has it that BMW will reveal a lightweight M model. Though there is still no assurance that this rumor is correct, it is still quite exciting to see a lightweight M model in Tokyo before the year ends. Looks like M division has a few tricks up its sleeve in terms of lightweight materials. We can’t wait to see the German engineering skills on this model.
