The MINI Aceman E is trading city streets for mountain passes. BMW’s compact electric crossover has been dressed in a full run of Genuine MINI Accessories, turning it into a rolling basecamp for weekend adventurers. From the heights of Kühtai to the Timmelsjoch and the Jaufen Pass, the little EV is aimed squarely at anyone who lives for the great outdoors.
Underneath, the Aceman E carries a tidy set of numbers. There is an electric range of up to 309 kilometres, a 135kW motor good for 184hp, and a boot that swallows 300 litres. Fold the rear seats down, and that figure climbs to 1,005 litres. Compact on the outside, it hides a surprising amount of room for kit, luggage and the odd spontaneous detour.
The clever part sits up top. MINI offers roof rails, a bicycle carrier and a 350-litre roof box, so helmets, hiking boots and sports gear all ride outside. That leaves the cabin free for passengers to stretch out. It is a neat way to haul a mountain’s worth of equipment without turning the interior into a cupboard.
This particular car wears MINI’s Heritage livery, matched by Heritage mirror caps and branded valve caps. The look gives the crossover real presence against a backdrop of jagged peaks and winding Alpine roads. Inside, all-weather mats and a matching boot liner shrug off mud and damp, while the MINI Travel and Comfort System adds a tablet holder and a folding table for longer hauls.
Security is covered too, courtesy of the Advanced MINI Car Eye 3.0 Pro. With the driving and the practicality sorted, the Aceman E lets you focus on the road ahead and the stories waiting at the end of it. Agile in town, settled on the motorway, and happy on a steep mountain climb, it makes a strong case as an all-rounder with genuine character.
