[Video] BMW M3 Made it to Top Gear’s Speed Week Top 5

The BMW M3 made it into the 26 cars that took part in Top Gear’s usual Speed Week. This event seeks to identify the best cars that can perform well both on and off the track. However, many think that Speed Week is just about finding the fastest cars on the track, but it is more than that.

After winning the first few tests, the new M3 joins the top 5 finalists. These cars possess impeccable credentials with incredible setup and horsepower. The list also includes the Ferrari SF90 hypercar with almost 1,000 hp and a great hybrid system. Another is the brand new Porsche 911 GT3 with another incredible technology and an improved 911 chassis.

Considered as an underdog, another finalist that made it to the cut is a modified Peugeot 205 GTi. Although it’s been 20 years since the last production, the Tolman engineering team changed and created a new version. And unexpectedly, it made its way to GT’s Speed Week.

These are all incredible cars with powerful engines, but the Hyundai i20 N caught the judges’ attention more. The Hyundai i20 N is the creation of a former BMW M engineer, Albert Biermann. Albert has given the Hyundai/Kia products remarkable engineering that makes them worthy of winning the Top Gear’s Speed Week competition. Watch the video above to see why the i20 outrank other high-performance cars.
