[Spy Photos] 2018 BMW M5 in California

The 2018 BMW M5 is already a hot topic among BMW fans. This model will forever mark the history as the brand’s first all-wheel drive M car with a traditional 8-speed automatic gearbox. Another first: it will be the first M car with an optional manual gearbox. No wonder we’re so excited!

The all-new F90 M5 was spotted doing a test run in California, which is a welcome change from the usual European spy shots we get. Not much can be seen, as it obviously wears a lot of camouflage. The wheels look like the ones on the current M3, so we assume they are here for the test purposes. It’s probable that BMW is still about to pimp this upcoming model.

In the meantime, check out what we have here – a couple of spy shots. Enjoy!
