MINI Countryman Winners of Product Design Competition

Last spring, MINI launched a Product Design Competition in celebration of the MINI Countryman launch. The competition challenged MINI fans around the globe to create something that can be put around the MINI Center Rail of the MINI Countryman. The winning entries were exhibited at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. Creative and imaginative MINI fans came up with various useful ideas, but only these three have won MINI over:

1. Fire in the MINI – a miniature fireplace, for a weekend in the countryside or a romantic retreat. Author – Satoshi Nakamura, Germany. Satoshi was awarded a four-day trip to Paris for two, including a visit to the Motor Show.

2. MINI Star Karaoke – for fighting the moments of boredom during long trips. Author: Chris Townsend, UK. Chris was awarded with an Apple MacBook Pro.

3. MINI Gamer – a creative idea of how to integrate an iPad in the MINI Countryman. Author: Andrew Till, Italy, who was also awarded an Apple MacBook Pro.
