A MINI United event will be held in May 2012 where the new MINI Cooper S Works GP will be unveiled. Dr. Kay Segler, the senior vice president of the MINI brand, confirmed that the vehicle will make it s debut at the Circuit Paul Ricard F1 track in Le Castellet, France.
While details are still scarce, rumor has it that it will feature a high performance turbocharged engine delivering around 200 horsepower. Segler also said that it is a full 20 seconds faster around the road course than its predecessor.
