2024 BMW X5 First Edition Debuts with Style in South Korea

Exclusively hitting South Korea, the BMW X5 Facelift First Edition reimagines luxury. Limited to 12 units, it breaks tradition; find it only at shop.bmw.co.kr. Its monochrome design truly stands out.

Shunning bright tones, the design embraces a sleek, all-black scheme. The BMW X5 features high-gloss black from grille to mirror caps, oozing bold luxury. Harmonizing with 22-inch double-spoke 742 M light alloy wheels, it portrays a stylish, seamless black silhouette.

The 2024 BMW X5 Facelift First Edition highlights BMW’s peak in plug-in hybrid innovation. Beneath its bonnet lies the renewed B58 engine, paired with the X5 xDrive50e’s electric motor, surpassing the power of its predecessor, the pre-LCI X5 xDrive45e.

Delivering a robust 483 horsepower and a staggering 516 lb-ft of torque, it closely rivals the BMW M5 CS. Despite a considerable curb weight of around 5,600 lbs, it achieves a swift 4.6-second 0-60 mph acceleration, guaranteeing thrilling drives at a moment’s notice.

The X5 xDrive50e surpasses the standard X5, flaunting a 25% increase in battery capacity to a substantial 25.7 kWh pack. This enables a 40-mile electric-only journey, a 10-mile boost from its forerunner, promising greener rides. At a fixed price of 141.5 million won, about $106,000, it offers an astute motorist a superior, eco-friendly experience.

BMW South Korea went beyond the X5, introducing the unique i4 Individual Edition. Living up to its name, it showcases a palette of bespoke colours, ensuring distinctiveness for all 50 online units. Retailing at 84.8 million won, about $63,500, it leverages the revered eDrive40 model’s foundation, adding an exclusive touch to the electric vehicle scene.
