Not a surprise, the 2021 BMW M5 CS photos got leaked before even its debut today at 6 PM EST. A few hours ago, the first leaked images appeared on the interwebs and social media, and we can now share a few of them.
The restriction is still in full place, but technical information and other fine details will have to be kept under wraps. The two leaked photos show the front and top view of the first-ever 2021 BMW M5 CS. Fair to say, this is definitely one of the best-looking M5s ever made, if not the best M car today.
Engine
Markus Flasch, CEO of BMW M, shared some of the specifics of the M5 CS just a few weeks ago. At the time, we heard that the F90 M5 CS would carry 625 horsepower, from 617hp in the M5 competition. BMW has also managed to lose some weight – about 70 kilograms. Mr. Flasch also reported that the interior would see carbon bucket seats at the front and individual seats at the back. But there’s no bench for three people that possibly saved a few kilos.
The Gold Bronze components seen in the vehicle are also unique to the M5 CS. From the emblem on the kidneys and continuing with the M5 CS-exclusive wheels in Gold Bronze. Behind these wheels, you’ll find carbon-ceramic brakes with red calipers. You can also note the yellow circles on front that have been exclusive to the First Edition models so far. The hood is a derivation of the one seen on the new M3 and M4 and looks amazing on the M5 CS. When fitted with ultra-stick Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires—285 and 275-section tires, back and forth—the BMW M5 CS should feel significantly sharper than the current M5 Competition!
